Kinesthetic Astronomy - Professional Development Opportunity

Looking to add some hands-on activities to your classroom? Kinesthetic Astronomy is more than just hands-on, it's whole body!

Understanding how past cultures used astronomy means understanding the motions of the sun, moon, planets, and stars. Be ready to move yourself as we use inquiry based lessons and other techniques to model the motions of the sky, understand the seasons and explore ancient cultures.  Learn how to use a planisphere.  Create your own Stonehenge. Do intergalactic field studies (your feet will never leave Earth.) Course includes two nights of sky watching.   Teaching materials provided.
