Professional Development Opportunities: Deadlines Approaching!

The South Dakota Discovery Center is offering high quality, accredited professional development that will help you foster communication, collaboration, creative problem solving and critical thinking in your students.

• Bring your students to the stars with our NASA In Your Classroom workshops.  
• Come back to earth with Harvest of the Month and Youth Gardening.
• Get out in the field and learn about earth and water in Earth Systems K-5 (activities can be scaled upwards), 21st Century Skills for Environmental Literacy, and Lake and Stream Ecology.

Note: The deadline for registering the  Lake and Stream Ecology workshop in Custer closes May 15.
